On 19–20 May 2026, researchers from across Europe came together at the CECAM headquarters at EPFL Lausanne for the workshop Molecular Dynamics in Confined Environments: Advances in Simulations, Methods and Models.
As the first in-person WG2 meeting, the workshop featured a rich scientific program spanning theory development, computational simulations, and experimental spectroscopy. It provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen collaboration and foster the exchange of knowledge within the COST COSY network.
The organizers would like to thank all the speakers, participants, and the members of COST COSY and CECAM whose contributions helped make this event a success.
