We are delighted to invite you to the second event of FemCOSY, an initiative within the COSY COST that focuses on women in science, particularly in fields where they are underrepresented, as Physics, Computational and Theoretical Chemistry.  Our aim is to identify the obstacles women face during their scientific careers and propose solutions to overcome them.

During the round table our speakers will discuss around the following issues:

1. In your experience, what specific challenges have women faced in advancing to leadership roles within the scientific community, and what strategies have proven successful in overcoming these challenges?
2. Do you observe any difference in your collaborations with male and female (such as: female/male help in keeping the research group united, female/male are more competitive, female/male are more helpful in the different stage of writing a manuscript, female and male often present a different perspective on how to face a given problem, female/male are more helpful for tasks outside those explicitly valued, such as mentoring undergrads, and so on)?
3. How can we encourage and support young girls and women to pursue and persist in scientific fields? In your institute or/and in the group you lead are there any initiatives in this direction?
4. How can we promote a more inclusive and equitable scientific culture that values diverse perspectives and talents, ultimately leading to greater representation of women in leadership positions?
