Ljiljana Suručić is an Associate Professor of Organic Chemistry at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Banja Luka. She holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Belgrade, where she completed both her undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Chemistry. Her research focuses on functional polymeric materials, biosorbents, environmental remediation, and the sustainable use of biomass-derived materials. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed scientific publications and regularly serves as a reviewer for international scientific journals.

She has extensive experience in university teaching, international mobility programs (Erasmus+), and project coordination at national and European levels. She is an active member of the Management Committee of the COST COSY Action and the COST Review Panel for Natural Sciences.
