The 3rd FemCOSY Virtual Meeting will focus on presenting the initial findings from the gender imbalance survey, discussing the potential need for an additional survey, and planning a scientific publication on the topic. This event will feature insightful lectures from invited speakers and a discussion panel aimed at promoting gender balance initiatives in the scientific community.

During the Round Table our speakers will discuss following topics:

1. How was your career affected by the COVID-19 period/diseases period? Did you feel any difference between men and women at your workplace? Do you see any difference between men and women promotion following the pandemic?
2. What is the effect of the parental leave at your institution? Are men welcome to take it? Are there any programs that help parents to return to work?  What about other family related duties (caring for a sick/elderly family member,..)?
3. How can we promote a more inclusive and equitable scientific culture that values diverse perspectives and talents, ultimately leading to greater representation of women in leadership positions? Have you seen any effect of applied measures (grant proposals, quotas, etc) at your workplace?
4. How can we encourage and support young girls and women to pursue and persist in scientific fields? In your institute or/and in the group you lead are there any initiatives in this direction?
