The training school will take place in Banja Luka (Bosnia and Herzegovina), at the University of Banja Luka, on 11–12 June 2026, and is primarily aimed at PhD students and early-career researchers.

Its main objective is to support young researchers, particularly those from ITC countries, in acquiring new knowledge, strengthening their research capacities, and actively integrating into the European research landscape. The event will bring together participants and experienced researchers from various fields of computational chemistry, creating an interactive and collaborative learning environment that combines fundamental concepts with advanced approaches. The multidisciplinary programme is designed to bridge theory and practice, covering key theoretical, computational, and applied aspects of contemporary chemical and biochemical research. Through a combination of expert lectures and hands-on sessions, participants will develop a solid conceptual understanding while acquiring practical skills.
The programme will focus on the following key areas:
- materials science and nanotechnology
- machine learning techniques in chemical research
- multiscale modeling of complex biological systems
- quantum chemical approaches in medicinal chemistry
- biomolecular systems and drug design
The deadline for registration is April 25, 2026.
Decision on selected participants: May 5, 2026.
